By this system the cylinders are maintained at a constant temperature by sprinkling with atomised water, and it is learned from reliable source that atomizer consumes only about two quarts of water for nearly 200 miles of travel. The weight due to large water supply required with the ordinary cooling jacket is therefore much reduced, and the usual water-circulation pump and radiator are also dispensed with.
