With the Scorpions ( Thelyphonidae)) the three last abdominal members are narrow and form a short tube, which ends in a long, multifaceted thread with a stink gland. The whip is relatively short and 8-membered. The jaw gauges are thick, stocky and scissor-shaped at the end. The depicted species inhabits Java and Timor and is 32 mm without the tail.
